 The Alter to Pray~

Today on this Lords day I could've just stayed home, oh I wanted too believe me but I felt that yearning, that tug at my heart.

Off to church I went but one with a heavy weighted heart ❤️ not even sure what to do.

Oh when worship began I began to sing each song, to worship with intentional purpose to draw close to God.

And then there that urge, that tug I needed more, the only one to help with that heavy weighted heart was Jesus and Holy Spirit!

To the Alter I went to pray, to bow before my maker, my Savior and Friend and there He met me in my moment of need.

That's a reminder for me tonight, tomorrow and the days ahead to the Alter to pray, He's waiting you just got to take action and move...

Nothing Else

OH THE LOAD AT TIMES SEEMS HARD TO CARRY.
BUT I KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALWAYS THERE.
DON'T LET ME GIVE IN TO THE WAYS OF THIS WORLD.
HELP TO BE KIND AND GENTLE EVERY TIME.

LORD LET YOUR LIGHT ALWAYS SHINE IN WHATEVER MAY COME MY WAY.
FOR IT'S YOU THAT I WANT TO PLEASE AND HAVE FAVOR WITH NOT MANKIND OR THE WORLD BUT ONLY THEE.

THOUGH THE TASK BE GREAT I KNOW THAT YOU WILL NEVER FORSAKE ME.
I LOOK TO YOU LORD TO PROTECT AND ALWAYS GUIDE ME IN WHAT EVER THE TASK.

LET ME ALWAYS TURN TO THEE AND NEVER TO ANYTHING ELSE FOR IT'S YOU THAT'S IMPORTANT AND NOTHING ELSE.

The Best

   There is no friend like the one I know and He is closer then anyone that I could even think or know.
I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Him right by my side to coach and say get up you can do it don't give up or give in.

   There have been times I just wanted to throw in the towel and say forget it whats the use, but oh what Grace He affords my way. He gently bends down and whispers it's just ahead can't you see it. It's the finish line but oh so many hurdle's to climb.
    
   I'm so thankful that I don't have to go it alone for rest assured I 'd surely fail. Now in this I know that in Christ I can depend and you to my friend for your the reason that He came. Don't just push Him aside when He knocks on your hearts door just as I did let Him come in.

You've Done It Unto Him

I met a man along the road one day, now is he friend or foe I don't know.
But I took him anyway.

God He don't look on the outside of people don't you know.
He See's the need on the inside that's what He wants to feed.

For you or I it might take a step of faith, to feed , to visit or whatever the need ,
But when we've done it unto these we've done it unto Him.

Called To Pray!

TO A PLACE CALLED GETHSEMANE JESUS TOOK TIME TO PRAY.

NOW HE TOOK PETER TWO SONS OF ZEBEDEE HE BEGAN TO BE  SORROWFUL AND DEEPLY DISTRESSED, EXCEEDINGLY SORROWFUL, EVEN UNTO DEATH.

NOW HE SAY'S WATCH AND PRAY TO THOSE THAT HE TOOK AND THEN JESUS WENT AND FELL ON HIS FACE TO PRAY.


NOW HE KNEW THAT HIS HOUR HAD COME AND HE WOULD SOON BE BETRAYED ARRESTED AND THE PATH NOW HAD COME FOR HIM TO FULFILL WHY HE HAD COME.

NOW HE HAD COME AND WHAT DID HE FIND HIS FRIENDS ON THE GROUND FAST ASLEEP.

JESUS ASKED COULD YOU NOT PRAY WITH ME FOR ONE HOUR?

WATCH AND PRAY LEAST YOU FALL INTO TEMPTATION, THE SPIRIT INDEED IS WILLING BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK.

NOW WHAT HAVE I LEARNED FROM THIS. ONE JESUS PRAYED AND SO MUST I AND HIS CHURCH FOR WE ARE HIS BODY AS ONE TOGETHER AND WE ARE CALLED TO PRAY JUST THE SAME AS THOSE HE TOOK ON THAT DAY.

Take To The Lord!

THERE ARE ALWAYS GOING TO BE TIMES WHEN WE ARE FACED WITH CIRCUMSTANCE
AND DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

THE THING TO DO IS KNEEL IN PRAYER AND TAKE IT TO
THE LORD.

WHO BETTER TOO, THEN GO BEFORE THE LORD HE’S WAITING THERE TO SEE
YOU THROUGH JUST GO TO HIM IN PRAYER.

IT DON’T MATTER THE NEED, GREAT OR SMALL HE’S GOT THE ANSWER FOR IT ALL.
NOW IT MAY NOT BE THE ONE YOUR LOOKING FOR, BUT LISTEN ANYWAY FOR HE KNOWS WHATS BEST THAT WILL SEE YOU TO THE END.

NOW, THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO IS TAKE IT ON YOUR OWN, GET DISTRACTED FROM
WHAT HE WANTED YOU TO DO ALL ALONG.

 HE ALREADY KNOWS,  NOTHINGS HID FROM HIM,  HE CAN SEE FROM THE BEGINNING AND  TO THE VERY END.

He's Your Dearest Friend!

IF YOUR  TROUBLED  DOWN  DEEP  INSIDE  AND  NO  PEACE  WITHIN  YOUR  SOUL
JESUS  IS YOUR  DEAREST  FRIEND,  HE WILL  COME AND  TAKE  CONTROL.                    

THERE  IS A PEACE  WE  OFTEN  FORFEIT  WHEN IN  HIM  WE DON’T  ABIDE.
   THERE  ARE  DISTRACTIONS THAT  COME  TO INTERFERE  WITH  HIM  AND  THE  WORK  HE’S  DONE INSIDE,

JUST  LOOK TO  HIM  HE’S  YOUR  DEAREST  FRIEND.
  HE  WILL  TAKE  YOU  BY  THE  HAND   AND  LEAD  YOU  DOWN  PATHS  OF  RIGHTEOUSNESS  JUST TAKE  HIM  BY  THE  HAND.
